RSV Vaccination
We are contacting patients who are eligible for the RSV vaccine to attend the surgery for vaccination by the practice nurse.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE RSV VACCINE?
- Patients who turn 25 on or after 1st September 2024
- Patients aged 75 - 79
- Patients aged 80 up until 31/08/2025

Autumn Flu/Covid Vaccination
The health minister has announced that the flu programme will be extended to include patients aged 50-64. We are currently awaiting additional vaccinations to be able to offer this to our patients and will contact patients as soon as we have any further information
At present we can offer flu vaccination to those patients who fall into the eligible categories below, to book an appointment for your vaccine, telephone the surgery on 028 4062 3303.
Flu Vaccinations - Who is eligible?
• residents and staff in a RQIA registered care homes
• all adults aged 65 years and over
• persons aged six months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the Green book including pregnant women
• household contacts, as defined in the Influenza chapter of the Green Book of people with immunosuppression
• carers
• all preschool children aged two to four years on 1 September 2023
• all primary and secondary (up to and including year 12) school children (Given in school)
• frontline health and social care workers
Covid Vaccinations - Who is eligible?
• residents and staff in a RQIA registered care homes
• all adults aged 65 years and over

• frontline health and social care workers
Please note that carers, and household contacts of people with immunosuppression are not included in the Autumn 24 Covid-19 programme.
