homevisitsHome Visits

Requests for a home visit should be made before 10.30am. Details of the patient's condition must be given to the receptionist so that the doctor can assess the urgency of any visit. Home visits must only be requested when a patient is unfit to attend the surgery.

Telephone Advice

Except in emergencies, we prefer the doctor not to be interrupted during surgery. If the receptionist is unable to answer your query we can arrange for the doctor to contact you should this be necessary.

Dr on Call - Dr McNiff Practice

Patients of Dr McNiff's practice have access to the On Call Dr from 8.30am - 11.30am and from 2pm - 4.30pm each day except Thursday afternoons when the surgery is closed.

The On Call Dr will be one of your regular GPs who is available to answer queries, issue acute prescriptions, arrange home visits and arrange to see patients in need of immediate attention.

You can access the On Call Dr by telephoning the surgery in the normal way.
